Extensively involved in evaluating and reviewing various industrial, infrastructure, and mining projects as a part of regulatory measures for granting permissions for extraction of groundwater under Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA). He was credited with 34 scientific paper publications in various journals, extensively participated in both National and International seminars, conferences, and workshops. He also compiled more than twenty-five reports on various aspects of groundwater including Aquifer Atlas of India and erstwhile Andhra Pradesh state. Before he joined MDCPL, he worked as Regional Director at CGWB. He is also an accredited empaneled expert by NABET, MoEF.

Mr. Kirankumar K. M., Consultant (Hydrogeologist – Team Lead)

He has in-depth experience in conducting field level hydrogeological studies investigations, including geophysical studies. He worked extensively with source identification and groundwater prospects, hydro-geomorphological investigations. Groundwater recharge studies, identification feasible locations for artificial recharge (assessing, planning and designs), verification and assessing the performance of existing recharge structures, aquifer mapping, water resources management, aquifer performance testing, etc., He is also involved in water budgeting, development of thematic maps using remote sensing and GIS techniques.
He possesses good experience in environmental impact assessment, monitoring of groundwater levels and quality, water (Ground and surface) sampling and, soil sampling, assessing and planning for greenbelt optimization for treated wastewater management. At MDCPL he leads the Hydrogeological team.
Dr. Sreedhar Kuntamalla., Consultant (Hydro-geologist)

He is also involved in watershed activities like drainage line treatment plans, evaluation of natural resource management (NRM) structures, identification of recharge and discharge areas, crop water budgeting, water security plans, water auditing and preparation of thematic layers using remote sensing and GIS techniques.

He possesses extensive knowledge, tools to assess, map, and analyses both groundwater and surface water. He deals with hydrology as integration to water resource management, undertakes remote sensing and GIS, Hydrological and groundwater Modelling, etc.,
His expertise includes hydrological modeling, project management, integrated water resource management. Additionally, he handles programming tools like (R Studio and Matlab), GIS tools QGIS, ArcGIS Desktop, ERDAS, Arc-SWAT, SWAT-CUP, MODFLOW, etc.
Mr. Chandrahas B., Consultant (Civil & Environmental Engineer - Specialty Construction)

He is pursuing his Master’s in Structural Engineering from Osmania University. Mr. Chandrahas possess experienced in collecting topographical information and interpretation using Total Station & DGPS survey’s, Geotechnical Investigations, proficient with design software like ETABS, AutoCAD for Structural Designs and Drafting, Hydraulic modeling with SWMM, Watergems, GIS techniques using remote sensing for assessing the spatially distributed of climatic factors, mapping the water network system & identifying the water bodies.
He collaborates within a multi-disciplinary environmental aspect of water resources management. He is extensively involved in assessing RWH projects, identification, and establishment, groundwater recharge estimates, Water budgeting, etc.,
